Emotion, groove, and a touch of heat. Spencer Terry aka Terrifique drops a superb EP on our beloved label Fresh Beats Records
Fresh Beats Records returns with another standout release, this time from Terrifique, the South Manchester-born, London-based producer known for his disco-forward selections and emotive solo sound. Titled Warm Introduction EP, the five-track collection is a sun-drenched, groove-rich debut that blends Balearic house, vocal-led rollers, and nostalgic deep cuts with flair and finesse.
Warmth, Feeling, and Rhythm
Opener Un Poco Picante simmers with Mediterranean soul, all sensual percussion, soft pads and a coastal breeze. Take That Love ups the energy with chopped vocals and a bouncing bassline, dialling into peak-time positivity. Something (About You) is an emotional roller with pop leanings and club weight, showing Terrifique’s ability to balance mass appeal with underground credibility.

Things cool off with Bonjour Amour, a lush piano-led closer that feels both cinematic and intimate. On remix duties, fellow LSEM alumni Mont Vernon flips the track into a deep-house groover with a classic touch, perfect for terrace sets or post-club wind-downs.
More than a personal statement, the EP exemplifies what happens when emerging artists commit to the creative process and are supported by structured learning, expert mentorship, and a thriving underground community.
In Terrifique’s case, this project was written and completed during LSEM’s Advanced Music Production Course, where students finish a professional EP for potential release on our label Fresh Beats Records.
Terrifique, real name Spencer Terry, joined LSEM with a clear goal: to develop a unique sonic identity and bring years of DJ experience into the studio. Over the course of the Advanced Production programme, he refined his workflow, honed his arrangement skills, and shaped a cohesive release built for warm-ups, peak time, and sunrise sets alike.
The course is led by expert LSEM tutor Mat Lomas aka Portamento, in collaboration with LSEM founder and director Pablo Ranacat. Together, they guide producers through a deep, hands-on process that goes far beyond tutorials, helping students shape a personal sound, build a body of work, and finish music to a professional release standard.
Every EP released on Fresh Beats Records is developed, produced, and mixed as part of the course journey, nurtured with the expertise and creative passion our tutors bring to every session.
With every release, our aim is clear: to cultivate the next generation of electronic music talent and equip them with the skills, confidence, and platform to step into the global scene.
The EP is now available across all major digital platforms.
