Advanced DJ Course

Absolutely. While many students progress from our Beginner module, we welcome any DJ with a solid grasp of the basics. If you are comfortable with beatmatching, phrasing, and standard DJ equipment, you are ready. If you're unsure of your level, just drop us a message. We can have a quick chat to assess if it's the right fit.

This course goes far beyond basic transitions. You will master 3-deck mixing (layering tracks and acapellas), creative FX manipulation on the DJM-A9, and live remixing using hot cues and loops. It is designed to transform you from a traditional DJ into a creative performance artist.

Because professional clubs aren't perfect. We teach you how to identify signal chain failures and fix cabling issues in a dark booth so the music never stops. We also retrain your ears to mix without visual phase meters, ensuring you can play on any setup, even if the "sync" or display fails.

Yes. A major part of the curriculum is Artist Development. We guide you through building a professional Electronic Press Kit (EPK), navigating the Resident Advisor (RA) ecosystem, and effectively pitching to promoters. You will also be invited to appear on our Fresh Beats Radio Show on Bloop London Radio, where you will receive a high-quality video recording and mix for your portfolio.

You will train on a fully professional rider: 3 x Pioneer CDJ-3000s and the industry-standard mixers like Pioneer DJM-A9 or 900NXS2. Learning to handle three decks simultaneously on this level of hardware is a rare opportunity that sets our graduates apart from the competition.

The course is taught by Jay Clarke, a Techno heavyweight with a 5-year residency at fabric London and releases on Klockworks. Jay shares practical industry knowledge gained from over 15 years of touring Europe's biggest clubs, including Berghain and Awakenings.

We understand that life happens. Because our groups are so small (max 3), our tutors can often help you catch up on key concepts in the following session. We also allow rescheduling in certain circumstances, provided you arrange it with your tutor and group ahead of time.
