Nick produces and DJs under the moniker ‘Wordcolour’.
Their productions range from peak-time trippy club tunes to more ambient and experimental explorations, with a focus on sonic detail and striking sound design.
For the past few years they have released albums and EPs on Fabric’s Houndstooth sub-label, as well as on Barcelona’s Lapsus records.
In 2025 they launched their own label TiHKAL, a new home for deep rolling psychedelic club music.
As a DJ, their sets are full of twists and turns.
At times deep, at times raucous, they move through a wide range of styles and tempos whilst always staying focussed on the journey.
Wordcolour’s productions and mixes have received support from Crack Magazine, DJ Mag, Pitchfork, Electronic Sound, and others.
They have been named as ‘One To Watch’ in by The Guardian, and FACT magazine described them as “one of the UK’s brightest new club producers”.
