Mike Rose
Major Label Producer, Writer & Artist Mentor
Mike Rose is a British songwriter and producer whose work has contributed to over 25 million records sold worldwide, with 29 hit singles and more than 100 million streams.
Over the years, he has worked with artists including Sting, Kylie Minogue, Boyzone, Gary Barlow, Gabrielle and many more, helping shape records that reached a global audience.
At LSEM, Mike brings that experience into a more personal setting, working closely with singers, songwriters, electronic producers and artists who are ready to take their music to a truly professional level.
His focus is on helping artists position themselves for major label opportunities and build a long-term, successful career.
Many producers today can create great ideas, grooves and demos but often get stuck somewhere between inspiration and completion.
The difference between a promising track and a finished record usually comes down to experience: understanding structure, refining ideas, and knowing how to shape a production so it truly connects.
That’s where Mike comes in.

His approach is not about forcing a formula or pushing artists into a specific genre. Having worked across pop, dance and electronic-influenced music, Mike is highly versatile and adapts to each artist’s vision. Whether you're making house, electronic, vocal-led music or something more experimental, the focus is always the same: developing your sound and elevating your music without losing its identity.
Mike specialises in helping artists:
• turn demos into fully finished tracks
• refine songwriting, arrangement and structure
• improve production depth, clarity and impact
• develop a stronger artistic identity
• understand what makes a record feel complete and release-ready
His sessions are collaborative, honest and focused. The aim is not just to improve one track, but to help you understand the process so you can apply it to everything you create moving forward.
As Mike often says:
“You were born an original, don’t die a copy”
If you’re a producer or artist with ideas you believe in, but want to take them to a professional level, working with Mike can help bridge that gap.
