Mattia Turchetti, aka M.F.S. Observatory, is a

London-based sound designer, editor, and music producer specialising in electronic music and immersive sound design.

 

As an electronic artist performing under the alias M.F.S: Observatory, he produces raw, hypnotic techno and has collaborated with Maya Jane Coles.

 

He is also the founder and manager of Observatory Music, supporting forward-thinking underground artists.

With a first-class degree in Music and Sound Design and a Master’s in Sonic Arts, he combines strong academic training with hands-on industry experience, approaching sound from both a creative and technical perspective.

​He works confidently across Pro Tools, Ableton Live, and Logic Pro, delivering projects in film, media, and electronic music​​

 

Across all areas of his work, his focus is on creating sound that is authentic, technically refined, and emotionally impactful.​
